I began my spray tanning journey in 2014, I started by doing some extensive research on brands and what was available to Canada and which companies actually offered training. I began taking online training courses with Norvell. I took virtual classes with the head trainer Brandon who is still with Norvell and became certified for the first time in 2015. I took three courses they offered. I then did an upgraded course in 2018 and decided to take the NUDA branding course in 2019. I have been certified to offer spray tanning for 5 years on February 11th, and it is one of my favourite services to offer and I also enjoy being spray tanned. In NB anyone can offer spray tanning without being trained, certified, licensed or insured which is a tiny bit scary as you really learn the ins/outs of spray tanning and proper troubleshooting for when things go wrong. I take pride in only offering services I have been professionally trained and certified in. Today in the salon I offer professional spray tanning exclusively using NUDA products, I always guarantee my work and will continue to do so :). Prices for are $35 +tax for regular and $40 +tax for rapid and the #1 question I get asked is what's the difference... so the difference is personal preference, you will get a flawless tan with both options. Regular solutions come in 4 different shades: latte, moka, espresso & hot chocolate each of these achieve a natural looking tan for every different skin tone. Regular tans are left on the skin for a minimum of 12 hours and can be worn over night after 12 hours it won't develop darker as time goes on when the right shade is chosen for you. After the 12 hours you shower. Rapid tan comes in two options: cappuccino & milkshake, cappuccino is the original rapid formula they launched and then milkshake came out with a purple undertone to prevent people with "yellow-ish" skin to not look orange. Both rapid solutions are on the skin for 3, 4 or 5 hours the determining factor is your skin tone and what you want for an end result, we will determine this together. NUDA will not make you orange that is also another top question, they have developed an amazing product and I have experience nothing but amazing results since switching brands and as an added bonus it's CANADIAN by two ladies from Quebec. Nuda is vegan, cruelty, paraben and gluten free. Nuda spray tans last up to 10 days with proper skin prep and maintenance.

Everything you need to know!!
#1 question, will my facial hair come back in black and thicker? ANSWER NO that’s a myth, vellus hair (peach fuzz) and terminal hair are completely different. Your hair grows back the same as it was before, our hormones are what decide if a hair is going to become a terminal hair. Benefits of dermaplaning: -manual exfoliation -removes dirt/oil -removes peach fuzz -removes dead skin -brightens the skin -smooths the skin Dermaplaning can be paired with a facial and can also be followed by a mild chemical peel. People with cystic acne unfortunately are not candidates for dermaplaning as it’s done manually with a scalpel and will cut the acne and spread the bacteria, mild breakouts are ok for this treatment. Yes we use a blade, yes you can get cut.... when having this treatment it’s held on an angle to scrape the surface of the skin, breakouts can cause minor knicks which is similar to a poet cut and most people don’t even notice if this happens. When having dermaplaning done it is extremely important to remain still and NOT talk, talking moves the jaw which is right where we work with the blade and increases the chances of being cut. This treatment can be repeated every 6 weeks and will leave your skin feeling smooth and looking bright. Redness can occur but doesn’t last, for the first 24 hours it is recommended that you avoid excessive sweating/heat/hot showers, and no makeup until the following day. Pricing: Basic Dermaplaning $50 -cleanse of the skin -dermaplane -moisturize Rejuvenating Dermaplaning $75 -cleanse of the skin -exfoliating gel -dermaplane -mild peel (5mins) -tone -moisturize I have been a certified eyelash technician since 2014, I always recommend liquid eyeliner when you have eyelash extensions, it’s easier to apply and remove (usually) until my sister said I need help with my lashes, I used a new eyeliner Tuesday and she was trying to wash the liner off up until and including Saturday. 4 almost 5 days worth of washing your eyes/makeup off and it still isn’t off? When she arrived Saturday it was clear the lashes were all coated with something similar to a glue/latex/thick sticky and it would not come off her lashes. The lashes could not be cleansed and filled... I did a lash cleanse but the brush wouldn’t even go though the lashes, so I did eyelash removal gel which typically sits for a few moments and the lashes come off easily with a nicroswab this was NOT the case, it took THREE cycles of removal gel, swabbing, brushing, rinse the lashes, new pads and restart the process each time so she could water rinse her eyes to ensure no gel, glue, lashes or the liner went into the eye. After three hours we were able to remove the lashes, cleanse, rinse and prime and finally put on a new set of eyelash extensions! So when choosing the proper makeup products for maintaining healthy lash extensions please DO NOT USE a tattoo effect eyeliner/latex with eyelash extensions.
